While taking the Practice test series or the All India test series, it would be good to follow the below good practices

• Complete each individual test in one sitting. You have to get ready for the real exam where you need to sit for 2 hours for each of the 2 papers.

• If you know about potential power cuts in your area, avoid starting a test during those times.

• Preferably, ensure that your internet connection is reliable.

• You may start with any subject you want. Click on the subject name in your test screen to switch between subjects.

• Go through each question and try to answer them. If you have a doubt regarding the same, either after answering or before, click on the ‘Mark for Review’ button. You will then see an ‘R’ put on top of that question number in the right side pane where all question numbers are listed. You can come back to this question later by clicking on that number.

• If you feel that you answered wrongly, you can change the answer option any time.

• You need not answer all questions. Do so only if you are sure. If you answer a question and then feel that you want to leave a question unanswered, click on the ‘Clear Answer’ button. This becomes important since wrong answer will invite a negative mark of 0.25.

• After you reach the last question and answer it, click on each question number where there is an ‘R’ (Marked for review) and try it again. You may want to clear the answer or change your answer. Once done, click on ‘Mark for Review’ again to remove the ‘R’ mark. Ensure that you clear all ‘R’ marks before you submit the test.

• After clicking on submit, wait for a few seconds for the system to evaluate the results and give the grades. If you are on the ‘Accounts and Law’ test paper, you will be automatically taken to the start page of the ‘Economics and Quant’ test paper. You can either start immediately or take a break, log out and then come back later. When you submit the ‘Economics and Quant’ test paper, give a few seconds (or more depending on your internet connection speed) until the system evaluates your answers and gives you the grade. You will be shown the full results by subject and for the whole test along with pass / fail. You can then review each test by clicking on the test name again.

• Take time to study the solutions of each test paper in detail. They will help you a lot in preparing for the next one and get a higher national percentile by the time you reach the ‘All India Test Series’
